Understated yet very ‘glam’, these gorgeous drop earrings feature a silvery Baroque Pearl topped with a shimmery violet Iolite gemstone. Finished with gold filled accent beads and ear wires, these elegant earrings are perfect for an understated yet luxe look. 

I designed these earrings when remembering the Mother of the Bride outfit I’d made for my Mother a couple of years ago for my sister’s wedding. I’d found a stunning Caroline Herrera silver lamé fabric at a New York fabric store and made a simple Shell and matching Jacket to top a floaty silvery silk chiffon skirt. These earrings would have been perfect and, as she had silvery white hair (she was almost 80 years old), they would have complemented her overall look beautifully.
